Karen Georgiev is an educator with over 12 years of teaching ELA. She has taught every grade from Preschool to 12th with the exception of 9th grade. While serving on The Arts committee for Houston Independent School District she facilitated and directed  “Read Carpet Readers” and “A Poem in my Pocket Project”.  She was honored Teacher of the Year in 2016. Karen holds certifications in ELA in Texas, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. She currently teaches Art in the Pittsburgh area.
